Pre-orders for the Apple iPhone SE 2022 will begin today. On March 8, Apple introduced the iPhone SE 2022, their most cheap and tiny 5G phone, along with the new iPad, a new Mac Studio, and a Studio Monitor. Pre-orders for the new 5G enabled iPhone SE 2022 will begin at 6.30 p.m. tonight on Apple’s official website, with retail sales beginning on March 18. 

The iPhone SE 2022 is a little flagship phone with the same processing power as Apple’s top-of-the-line iPhone 13. In reality, the iPhone SE 2022 has the same amount of RAM as its predecessor, allowing for enhanced multitasking and speed. 

Price, availability, and variations of the iPhone SE 2022 in India 

The iPhone SE 2022 comes with three storage options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The basic model costs Rs. 43,900 and comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage. The pricing of the 128GB iPhone SE 2022 is Rs. 48,900, while the 256GB iPhone SE 2022 is Rs. 58,900. 

Midnight, Starlight, and (Product) Red are the three colour choices for the phone, or simply Black, White, and Red. It can be pre-ordered in India from Apple’s official webshop. The iPhone SE 2022 is now available on Flipkart, with a “coming soon” status. Amazon India is yet to make the phone accessible.

Should you purchase the iPhone SE 2022? 

Apple’s SE range of phones is geared towards people who want to get a taste of Apple’s ecosystem. However, many people are either unwilling or unable to spend a significant amount of money on the flagship iPhones. 

As a result, Apple has resurrected its SE portfolio, which is aimed towards emerging areas like Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America. Unless you need physical Touch ID or want a phone with a small display, the iPhone SE is a good choice; otherwise, the iPhone 12 Mini, which offers a 5G connection, a larger display, a nicer design, and a better camera module for a comparable price, is a superior option. If 5G isn’t a must-have feature for you, an iPhone 11 with a 4G connection may be a better option.
