Hyundai Creta Facelift Latest Model 2024: First Drive Review, Testing Every Engine Option!

Hyundai Creta Facelift Latest Model 2024: As many of you know, Hyundai India launched the long-awaited facelifted second-generation Creta in 2024, and you’ve likely seen plenty of reviews about it. Recently, we had the opportunity to take a close look at the vehicle, and here are my thoughts on the matter.

Better late than never, right? The new Creta features several updates that enhance its appeal, including refreshed styling, advanced technology, and improved interior quality. Stay tuned for a deeper dive into its features and performance in my upcoming reviews!

Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 safety features

  • Inside, we can clearly see that Hyundai has taken inspiration from Mercedes-Benz’s wide dashboard display. The Creta now features a driver information display (MID) that is clearly borrowed from the Alcazar.
  • It appears that Hyundai cleverly integrated a black filter on the dashboard to create the illusion that the infotainment system and MID form a continuous unit.
  • Overall, this looks quite appealing, even though we personally prefer manual gauges over digital ones. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the Creta’s steering wheel now offers both reach and rake adjustments.
  • We find the dual-zone climate control very useful, especially considering the significant temperature differences between an average man and woman.
  • However, we were quite disappointed with the aesthetics of the AC control panel, which looks rather dated, as if it were taken from a car made 10-15 years ago.
  • It seems they have done a commendable job implementing Level 2 ADAS features, similar to what we first saw in the Palisade.
  • We appreciate the presence of both light and dark surfaces at the top of the dashboard, which helps reduce reflections on the windshield for the driver.
  • While Hyundai asserts that it has incorporated high-strength steel and made structural enhancements in the facelifted second-generation Creta, the car’s performance in crash tests is yet to be determined.

Hyundai Creta 2024 Specifications India

  • The design updates make it more contemporary, while the tech enhancements, like a more intuitive infotainment system, elevate the driving experience.
  • Additionally, the comfort and spaciousness of the cabin remain impressive. Overall, the facelifted Creta seems to live up to the expectations set by its predecessor, making it a strong contender in its segment.
  • From the front, we feel the Hyundai Creta takes inspiration from the Hyundai Hummer EV’s daytime running lights, while the headlights closely resemble those of the Hyundai Palisade.
  • Overall, we consider the front design of the facelifted second-generation Creta to be quite attractive.
  • From the side, it presents a typical neutral SUV look, which doesn’t require much discussion. Thankfully, they didn’t opt for 18-inch rims like its sibling, the Seltos, as that would be excessive given the condition of our Indian roads.
  • From the back, it seems that Hyundai drew inspiration from the Suzuki Ignis for the taillights and the Hummer EV for the DRLs, a theme also reflected in the Venue.
  • We have mixed feelings about this. However, we’re not fans of the running brake light assembly that spans the entire width of the rear door, particularly since it looks unattractive on the white Creta during the day. Overall, we weren’t impressed with the rear design of the facelifted second-generation Creta.
