New MG Astor Petrol Hybrid: MG Motor has launched the new MG Astor Hybrid+ in Spain as part of its electrification goals. This model is now the most affordable hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) SUV available in the Spanish market.
The pricing starts at €22,990 (approximately ₹21.41 lakh) for the base trim, while the Comfort variant is priced at €24,990 (around ₹23.27 lakh), and the Luxury trim is available for €26,990 (approximately ₹25.13 lakh).

The new MG Astor Hybrid+ features a hybrid setup initially introduced in the new MG3 and is now being utilized in several other MG models.
The hybrid system includes a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine that produces 102 PS, paired with an electric motor generating 100 kW (136 PS).
This results in a combined power output of 196 PS for the new MG Astor Hybrid+. The hybrid SUV is equipped with a front-wheel drive system and a 3-speed automatic transmission, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.7 seconds.
It houses a 1.83 kWh lithium-ion battery, operating at 350 volts, which is recharged by a 45 kW generator.
