Redmi K80 Latest Smartphone 2024: Redmi is preparing to launch its latest Note 14 Pro series smartphones in China this week. After that, the company is expected to unveil new devices from the K80 series in November or December.
The K80 lineup Is expected to initially include a vanilla Redmi K80 and a Pro model. Now, a new leak has revealed some key details of the standard Redmi K80, which includes mention of a large battery.
The leak comes from the Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu, who suggests that the Redmi K80 will feature “flagship waterproof” capabilities. Last year’s Redmi K70 and Pro models lacked any form of waterproofing, making this a welcome upgrade for the K80.

We expect at least an IP68 rating for the Redmi K80, and possibly even an IP69 rating, especially since the more affordable Redmi Note 14 Pro has already been confirmed to have an IP69 rating.

The K80 will launch alongside its Pro version, expected to have the same chipset and display but possibly differing in charging capabilities and battery capacity. There is also a possibility that the K80 and K80 Pro could be rebranded as Poco F7 and F7 Pro in markets outside China.
